Rosa is a Development Manager with Laurel Street Residential, based in Charlotte, NC. There she is responsible for the complete development process of affordable and workforce housing mixed income communities. As a part of her responsibilities, Rosa performs initial feasibility studies for potential sites, negotiates and facilitates land acquisition, and engages with third party professionals including land-use attorneys, civil engineers and architects to initiate site planning and design. Additionally, Rosa sources debt and equity, supervises construction and lease-up and oversees the stabilization and debt conversion for each of her developments.

Rosa earned a BA in Political Science with a minor in Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations from the University of Chicago where she was also a member of the inaugural class of the Trott Business Program (formerly UChicago Careers in Business Program). She completed a dual degree program at the University of Iowa earning a joint Juris Doctor and MS in Urban and Regional Planning.
