SPPA alum, Frank Waisath, works for Seattle Public Utilities as a Planning & Development Specialist II. He's working on a 50-year plan titled "Shape Our Water: A 50-year Plan for Seattle’s Water Resilience." The plan addresses multiple environmental and water quality issues, including water quality in streams, lakes, and estuaries, as well as stormwater and wastewater management. He primarily supports the technical analysis and mapping for this stage of the planning process and is utilizing skills he learned as a graduate student. The project is additionally expanding his knowledge of drainage and wastewater infrastructure.
