Why did you join the program?
I believe that earning a graduate degree will empower me to better serve the community I live in. I am confident that the knowledge and skills I gain will open doors to opportunities that lead to a fulfilling and prosperous career, allowing me to make a meaningful impact, not only in my own life but also in the lives of those around me.

What advice would you give to someone considering joining this program?
First, it’s important to follow the recommended order for taking most of your courses. Be sure to consult with your advisor before enrolling in your first semester to stay on track.

Second, reach out and engage directly with the organizations you’re working with on academic projects. This hands-on approach will not only help you get clearer ideas about applying your knowledge, but it will also allow you to build and expand your professional network.

What is a fun fact about you?
The advancement of my education has led me to stop competing in combat sports but I used to compete in collegiate boxing and amateur kickboxing in the midwest circuit.
