Noel completed a B.A. in Environmental Policy and Planning with a minor in Rhetoric and Persuasion from the University of Iowa.

  • During graduate school, Noel has had the pleasure of working for the UI Office of Community Engagement as their Graduate Assistant. In this role, she had the chance to lead a university-wide strategic planning committee on service learning and civic engagement, plan and execute workshops for community engagement practitioners, create the Graduate Engagement Corps for engaged graduate students, and even launch the Community Engaged Course designation.
  • Her favorite Iowa City activity is hanging out with friends and classmates at local establishments.
  • Her advice for incoming students is "to keep an open mind and not focus too much on being 'the perfect student.' Focus on learning, growing, and following your path in planning and public affairs. Go Hawks!"
