Biography

Farah Ahmad has over fifteen years of experience in developing federal, state, and local policy solutions and leading high-profile, place-based economic development, clean energy, and financial resiliency initiatives. She is currently the President of Partners for Rural Transformation, a national coalition of Community Development Financial Institutions serving persistently poor and rural communities. Farah's experience in public policy includes her distinguished career at the U.S. Department of Agriculture where she served as the former Deputy Under Secretary for Rural Development, as well as senior roles at the White House National Economic Council and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Farah has a Master of Public Affairs from the Princeton University School of Public and International Affairs and a Bachelor of Science from the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations.
