Joseph Wilensky, AICP, CFM, is a land use planner for Johnson County, Iowa, where he helps develop and implement land use development regulations and policies. He also has experience as a transportation planning consultant across the midwest, focusing primarily on infrastructure life-cycle analysis, road diets, and complete streets policy. A graduate of the School of Planning and Public Affairs at the University of Iowa, Joe is passionate about sustainability and the interplay between land, transportation, and sustainability.

Prior to returning to higher education, Joe had a career in politics and international development, working both domestically and internationally.
