Congratulations to Dr. Richard Funderburg, our visiting Assistant Professor. On December 6, he successfully defended his dissertation titled Agglomeration, Production Externalities, and the Firm Location Decision and earned his Ph.D. from the University of California at Irvine. In addition to interests in regional science and economic development, Richard also brings 10 years practitioner experience in workforce policy and planning. In the spring, he is teaching courses in Economic Development Policy and Applied GIS for Planners.
