We are excited to announce that on October 28th the Board of Regents approved a name change from the "Graduate Program in Urban and Regional Planning" to "The School of Urban and Regional Planning." This name change better reflects the size and standing of our program, our offering of an accredited professional degree,  our research mission,  and our outreach to communities in Iowa and elsewhere.  We continue to remain happily in the Graduate College.
