The School of Urban and Regional Planning is pleased to present Professor Emeritus Peter Fisher’s presentation: "The state budget debate in Iowa: Tax cuts for the rich and famous, budget cuts for the rest of us?" The presentation will be held Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 6:00 p.m., in room 101 of Biology Building East. The event is free and open to the public.

Peter Fisher is research director for the Iowa Policy Project and a retired professor in the School of Urban and Regional Planning where he taught from 1978 through 2010.  He is an expert on state and local budgets and fiscal issues with particular attention to their impacts on human welfare.
