One of our more prolific graduates, Jim Schwab, employed with the APA, has just published an article in the Spring 2008 issue of American Forests. "Planning for Healthy Trees" lists planning principles for urban forestry, covers including green infrastructure in the comp plan, and suggests placing tree ordinances in the development code.
