Jim Schwab, AICP, and Manager of the APA Hazards Planning Research Center will be offering a workshop on Saturday, November 14, 2009. AICP members attending, "Planning for a Disaster Resistant Community" are eligible to receive six units of AICP certification maintenance credit. The workshop will be held in room 346 on the third floor of Jessup Hall on the University of Iowa campus. Registration is $50 if paid on or before November 11th, or $70 payable in person on the day of the event. More information is available here.
