Field Problems Project Approved by Fairfield
The Fairfield Bikeway & Walkway plan can now move forward, as the Fairfield City Council voted to approve the plan Monday.
Housing Policy students volunteer with Habitat for Humanity
A group of students from Jerry Anthony’s Housing Policy class volunteered their help at an Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity build on September 15th. The home’s construction began sometime in June and the opening is tentatively schedule for October 8th.
Andrew Greenlee wins 2006 AICP Award
Andrew Greenlee received the AICP Outstanding Student award for 2006. Andrew maintained a perfect GPA in our program and, based on the quality of his academic work, received a Dean’s Graduate Fellowship throughout his studies at the University of Iowa.

2006 Field Problems season now in full swing
Solon, Iowa (home of the famous Beef Days) recently received an Iowa Living Roadways grant to improve its Main Street, and the City is working with Field Problems students to develop a comprehensive plan to revitalize its downtown.
