Two University of Iowa students in the School of Planning and Public Affairs met with state legislators in Des Moines during Hawkeye Caucus Day. They showcased their capstone projects which are benefiting communities across Iowa.

Alum Dave Andersen, class of 1994, has worked on a variety of urban planning issues during his career and is currently Managing Director at Washington State Department of Commerce. He considers his master’s degree in urban planning from UI instrumental in his success.
