After several years of hard work, interrupted by COVID, an exchange program with the University of Belgrade, Serbia, has finally come about.

Professor Carrie Schuettpelz’s journey into teaching was recently featured in a profile on the University of Iowa’s website. Schuettpelz discusses her experiences studying abroad, studying public policy at Harvard’s Kennedy School, and working as a homelessness policy advisor for the Department of Housing and Urban Development during the Obama Administration.

Assistant Professor Sam Zuhlke’s research article, “Acres for the Affluent: An Interactive Model of Nonprofit Resources and Demand Heterogeneity” has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory.

Professor Sam Zuhlke will be teaching PBAF/URP 2020:Environment and Society: Sustainability, Policy, and Politics starting in Spring 2022. This new course meets the Social Sciences Gen Ed requirement for undergrads!
