From November 6-8, 2013, Urban and Regional Planning second-year student Katie Gieszler participated in the Design Residency program at RDG Planning and Design, located in downtown Des Moines, Iowa.

Gloria Wenman, a Master's student in Urban and Regional Planning, has been accepted into the Obermann Graduate Institute on Engagement and the Academy taking place in January 2014.
